Eliminating my 8 hours sleep, I listen to some of the other noises, sounds, hum, echoes, and talk for 18 hours a day. I used to get irritated with all of them and would love to have and feel silence. I so much wanted to organize these sounds so that they don’t beat my ears. There I found my interest in music. Suddenly, it made everything organized. Nothing after that remained sound, everything became music, and that’s when I started enjoying music as my hobby.
Most of us have some of the other pastimes which suits our nature and thought process and in many cases musical activities change the direction of our thought process. Hobbies can relax you and make you feel happy.
Music is one of the most popular recreations. Even if a person who has other hobbies will definitely like music and use music to reduce his/her stress. Music relaxes your soul, body, and mind. A hobby of music can have further variations i.e. playing instrument, singing, writing music, collecting audio CDs and DVDs, listening to music and many more.
Developing a hobby for music is comparatively easy and natural. We human beings are brought up with music being around. Almost all the human culture has their unique style of music as a heritage. If you can play a musical instrument then it can be the best stress buster. One has to remember to choose the musical instrument which touches his soul and not what will look cool or what is trendy. One can learn a musical instrument with practice and by showing patience. It increases concentration power and patience level. It opens the doors for your creative mind to fly high. Playing music is like expressing your feeling in the easiest way when it is difficult to put in words, and this is the possible reason that people get very passionate about music.
Pastimes of listening to music is the most relaxing hobby. You may like a particular category of music. It can be rock, metal, trance, classical, country, hip hop, pop and from the remaining endless list. The best thing in music is, it is beautiful even if one single instrument is getting played and even when many contrasting instruments are played together. Music can add on to your emotions and make it deeper and at the same time it can pull you back from blue. Singing and writing songs and poems are though a different proposition then playing music, it can be considered under music itself.
Writing, composing, singing allows you to bring out your fantasy, your creativity, and your deeper emotions. Collection of CDs, DVDs, and old cassettes are also a hobby for many music lovers. They like to collect each and every album and songs of their favourite artist or all the albums of a particular era.
Music becomes the source of various other hobbies. For example, writing lyrics, singing, dancing, collecting musical instruments, and adoring a favourite musical artist.
